Roxanne Blair is an experienced leader in entrepreneurship and economic development.
She has worked the past two years with Creative Startups building the first international accelerator for entrepreneurs in the creative economy. Last year, Roxanne launched CreativeMornings/Albuquerque and was selected as an ambassador for 99U, bringing the first 99U:Local to Albuquerque. She has worked in Brazil as a Fellow with the U.S. Department of Education’s Foreign Language and Area Studies Program, in economic development with Los Alamos National Laboratory Technology Transfer Division and with grassroots social enterprises in Ecuador through the Social Entrepreneur Corps.
What do you love most about Albuquerque?
It is my home! It is where I’ve lived almost all of my life and my favorite place to come back to. There’s nowhere like it and no way to explain it to someone that hasn’t experience the place.
